There's little that makes each day distinct.  In fact, I gave the kids a pop quiz yesterday to evaluate if they knew the day or date.  Surprisingly, they both knew the correct answer without cheating (looking at their Fitbit).

I've made a few quarantine friends, because of course I have.  There's a nightly Zoom happy hour organized through one of the Facebook quarantine groups, and I've joined a few of those which is another way to meet folks in this same situation. I've also met people during the social events sponsored by the hotel, then we have connected via Facebook/Instagram.  I have a running chat with two separate moms at my hotel who are traveling solo with kids: an American who is an Australian permanent resident finally moving back with her 13 and 9 year old to join her husband in Sydney and an Australian who married an Italian and has been living in Singapore for 10 years traveling with her punk rock guitar playing 12 year old son. Connecting with others has been good for the mental health.

Speaking of mental health, this stationary bike has been a big saving grace for us! We both use it daily to get some workout time in.  We also force the kids to use it to burn off some energy.  I also have taken a few Zoom HIIT (high intensity interval training) sessions using my travel yoga mat and resistance bands.  It's definitely a struggle to get enough movement for calorie burning with the excessive amount of food they provide us daily!
